This photo was taken at Lake Cassidy in Lake Stevens Wa. I will be posting more photos and information about this cute little lake in a few days.

I just found your site and so enjoyed the pictures and then found one about your family at our farm. Tears came to my eyes as I read your story….thank you so much for sharing your story. We have been doing this for 26 years and are now entertaining the 2nd generation the “kids” that have been to the patch. As you observed your children have grown past the nursery rhyme scenes, but they too may bring their yougen’s to the patch someday to share some of their own happy childhood memories.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for visiting my blog and for sharing your beautiful farm with all of us for all these years. We have been going there since my oldest (she is 16) was 3 and have never thought to go anywhere else. It has become a family tradition for us and I am sure my children will pass it on. They may have outgrown the nursery rhymes, but they always look forward to picking their pumpkins and enjoying the yummy treats (especially the buttery corn) at your farm. We will definitely stop and say hi in October. 🙂
