Beautiful conglomeration of the highlights of nature. Once having lived there, your site brings it all back to reassure me that this beautiful part of the U.S. still exists. May it always. Thank you for sharing this work that was well organized.

WOW…You have an incredible talent for capturing the “emotion of the scene” Anne. I could hear, smell and feel the details in your photos! I was looking for information about where to go with my kids for low tide today and came across your blog…thank you for sharing your images…I will be a regular visitor!

    Where is Lake Cassidy?

  8. Thanks for your compliments Catherine!

Lake Cassidy is between Lake Stevens and Marysville on Hwy 9. After you go through Frontier Village (on Hwy 9) you will pass E. Sunnyside School Rd/42nd st. The next road is 60th st./Lake Cassidy Rd. Turn right and you will drive right to the lake. There is a small beach with a parking area. It’s mostly residental, but it sure is pretty with a great view of Mt. Pilchuck. Perfect for sunrises and boating! 🙂

  13. Hi i reaaally love your photos and i wonder if i could use the one of the bird flying in the sunset (it doesn’t seem to have a name..) in a powerpoint presentation on bird navigation i’m making? I’m an oxford uni student and this presentation is part of my grade, i’m not posting it on the internet or anything, it’s just a one time use of the picture. Can i use it if i reference you?

    Thanks

I’d like to use the picture of the children holding a geocaching ammo can for a family geocaching article I’m writing for a local publication. It’s a great shot that captures the essence I’m trying to convey!

    Thanks,

    Mark

  16. With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any ways to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.
