About this Blog
This blog is for people who love the outdoors, photography and the Pacific Northwest. When I started this blog the goal was to post about hikes, camping spots, beaches and anything related to the outdoors using my photography to give a visual description of my adventures. This blog has become a spot where people can find information if they are searching for a particular activity or Pacific Northwest topic of interest.
Your art is amazing. I would love to use your Lake Stevens photo on the new city website that I am putting together. I would recognize your name on the website.
Look forward to hearing from you.

hi:
I found your blog while looking for info on camping at Pearrygin Lake State Park. We are a recreational kayaking family, camping in a tent. I would love some more info on this location, questions like how privacy among the sites, is there shade? do you recall if there are any campsites with direct (from the site) access to the lake, where we could enter and exit our kayaks, w/o having to put them on top of the car after every use an bring back to the campsite? recommendations for specific site, things to do in the area. We have never camped east o the cascades, so this is all new to us? is it VERy busy with motor boats, is the water warm for swimming late july/early august?
Details would be great! please email me at sharon at muzas dot net, I would love our wisdom!
Best,
Sharon

I was wondering whether I could use one of your photos for a Stanwood highschool board? We will be sending them home with the kids, and I wanted to use a landmark for Stanwood, not seattle. Your photo beach9.jpg (beach in Stanwood) I think might be perfect! Please do let me know!

I’m a So Cal transplant to this area. Thank you so much for blogging your adventures. My husband and I are struggling with the rain, and would love some great ideas on outdoor adventures…even winter ones if you got them.
Thanks again!

I was looking for some pictures online of a dog in the snow and I came across this site with your dog looking at the snow. I was wondering if you would let us use it for a calendar I am doing for PAWS Chicago. This is a not for profit organization that is trying to build a no kill society where pets are no longer being killed because they are homeless. You can see more about us at our website http://www.pawschicago.org. The calendar will be sent to all donors for free and will be placed online for sale at a low price where all proceeds go to directly to the animals. All the pictures we have are from our pets, but like I said I am missing one for winter and was wondering if you would be interested permitting us to use it. If not, it is OK, we will not use it. Thank you so much for your consideration.

I really like your photos. May I please use the photo of the deer eating a plant for a high school project I am doing in Biology. I will only print in a size 3″ X 3″ and post it on my project. Thank you for considering this.

I’ve always wanted to create a website that introduced itself as a tide pool – I’ve always loved tide pools … can i use this image:

to bring that vision to life?

Hey, Annie, I read your skagit “I forgot my battery” story, yikes.
I did a similar thing last year, loaded tripod, lenses, camera chips, etc.
Drove a couple of hours up into the mountains, and found I packed everything but my camera!

I’d like to use a photograph of yours (Sunset on Deception Pass Bridge) as part of an event pass.

What kind of an event pass is it? I usually ask that my name is mentioned and that I can see the actual finished product, website, etc.

Annie – Would you consider saying a word or two about your equipment? I am also a student of the world viewed through a glass lens and am always curious about why people use what they use – camera, lenses, etc.
